Showcasing at the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme Big Pitch 2026

Earlier in 2026, two of Cambridge Surgical Models' Co-Founders, Dr Mark Golab and Dr Senthooran Kathiravelupillai, graduated from the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme. Having both been selected through a highly competitive national application process, they spent the year immersed in a programme of expert mentoring, collaborative workshops, educational "Pit-Stop" sessions, and a vibrant community of healthcare innovators.

One of the year's highlights came when Cambridge Surgical Models was invited to showcase our next-generation surgical simulation models at Big Pitch 2026, the flagship event celebrating the innovation and entrepreneurial achievements of current and former NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Fellows. It was an exciting opportunity to demonstrate how our technology is helping shape the future of surgical education and training.

The NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme has played a significant role in our journey, providing invaluable insights into navigating the NHS, building meaningful stakeholder relationships, refining our commercial strategy, and communicating our vision effectively. The experience has not only accelerated our Co-Founders' development as entrepreneurs but has also strengthened the direction of Cambridge Surgical Models as a company.

We're incredibly proud to have two NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Fellows leading our team. Representing Cambridge Surgical Models at Big Pitch 2026 was a fantastic milestone, and we're already looking forward to returning for Big Pitch 2027.
