Cambridge Surgical Models Showcasing at Cambridge Festival 2026
As a Cambridge based and Cambridge-graduate led company, Cambridge Surgical Models was invited to showcase their work at the Cambridge Festival held at the Institute of Manufacturing, University of Cambridge.
We shared our work including our Next Generation Skin Pads, AI Evaluators and Organ Models, to attendees who ranged from students to families in the local community, with the aim to showcase cutting-edge innovation happening in Cambridge, but to also inspire the next generation of academics and entrepreneurs.
At our stall festival attendees learnt all about the challenges facing modern surgical training, with ever-reducing cadaveric availability, theatre training time-constraints but also new modalities of surgery involving robotics, all of which consolidate the need for a larger range of high-fidelity surgical training simulation models, that can allow out-of-theatre simulation training.
