Cambridge Surgical Models at the Cambridge Health Future Conference

Held at Emmanuel College, Cambridge in March 2026, Cambridge Surgical Models were present at the Cambridge Health Futures Conference, which brought together researchers, clinicians, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs to inspire, collaborate, and build together.

With a diverse mix of delegates, Cambridge Surgical Models showcased their Skin Pads, well known for their hyper-realistic feel and fidelity. With an array of excellent speakers and presentations, it was a privilege to share our work with members of the MedTech community who had travelled from across the UK for this event.

The team further supported the conference on Day 2, helping candidates practise wound closure techniques during a hands-on trauma workshop. After initial K-wire fixation of broken bones, students proceeded to use various suturing techniques, including subcuticular sutures placed in precise layers of Cambridge Surgical Models’ Skin Pads, to close open skin wounds.

With the Cambridge Surgical Models founding team consisting of three Cambridge University graduates, it was a great privilege to take part in this Cambridge conference, made even more special by the venue at Emmanuel College.
