Supporting The Dukes’ Club and Medtronic’s Abdominal Wall Course

ACPGBI Abdominal Wall Closure and Management Course

Held at the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) in Belfast in July.

CSM were delighted to support the renowned The Dukes’ Club and Medtronic at their Abdominal Wall Closure and Management Course, held at the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) in Belfast.

Cambridge Surgical Models provided state-of-the-art abdominal wall models, enabling delegates to practise key surgical techniques on realistic models replicating a range of complex abdominal layers and anatomical structures.

The event brought together delegates and expert faculty to explore crucial abdominal wall closure techniques, including small bites closure and mesh-mediated fascial traction, through a series of hands-on surgical workshops. Delegate feedback was extremely positive, with faculty also impressed by the quality and realism of the models.

Our abdominal wall models provide a practical, sustainable alternative to traditional surgical training materials, with minimal waste, no storage requirements, and no biohazard concerns, while retaining a high level of anatomical fidelity.

If you’re planning a surgical workshop, abdominal wall closure course or hands-on surgical training programme and would like to learn more about how Cambridge Surgical Models can support your event, we’d love to hear from you. Contact the team at cambridgesurgicalmodels@gmail.com
